Business meeting with the representatives of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China was held in Novosibirsk

On October 10, the President of the Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yuri Bernadsky met with the Chairman of the Karamay branch of the Chinese Trade Development Committee Mr. Yan Lijun. The business meeting took place at the Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr. Yan Lijun told about the opening of the Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center in Shanghai. This center includes protective tariffs, trade exchanges, logistics, warehouses, and customs for exhibitors. The rent of the bonded warehouse and the information service is free of charge. The custom fee is established in accordance with the trade price so that entrepreneurs could save on the self-cost of logistic services. The planning of the second phase of the center had already finished and the bonded logistic center would be put into operation in November 2019.

Mr. Yan Lijun emphasized that “Karachinsky Istochnik” LLC had already presented its products at the Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center and the Chinese part was interested in establishing new business contacts with Russian companies within of Hongqiao project.

During the meeting Novosibirsk and China representatives agreed to enter into cooperation arrangements for the purpose of establishing effective business relations between Novosibirsk and Karamay companies, exchanging by work experience in enterprise support services, and exchanging the information in foreign economic activity.
