Novosibirsk entrepreneurs met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Russian Federation

On October 22, Novosibirsk entrepreneurs met with Croatian delegation, headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Russian Federation Tomislav Car. The meeting took place in Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

From the side of Novosibirsk business circles the following companies took part in the negotiations: the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia in the Siberian Federal District, the President of «Division «D» LLC Victor Ovchinnikov, the President of the Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yuri Bernadsky, the Director General of LLC GC «Ecomer» Oleg Kachalov, the Director General of LLC «Elektro-Direct» Pavel Sosnovsky, the Director of LLC «Diapharm» Yuriy Khrypko, the Deputy Director General for Finance LLC «Combest» Elena Egorova.

The Croatian part was represented by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Russian Federation Tomislav Car, the Head of the Representative Office of the Croatian Chamber of Economy in the Russian Federation Jacob Despot, and a member of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Russian Federation Olga Tsigich.

Welcoming the guests, Yuri Bernadsky noted the timeliness of the meeting on the eve of the visit of Novosibirsk companies to Croatia, which is planned in November this year.

The President of the Novosibirsk State Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented the potential of the Novosibirsk region to the guests.

Tomislav Car expressed his gratitude and stressed that he would like to visit as many Russian regions as possible, with which Croatia could establish cooperation.

Jacob Despot told the participants of the meeting about the opportunities to enter the market of Croatia and the European Union.

During the meeting, entrepreneurs from Novosibirsk received information about the priorities of mutually beneficial cooperation and the needs of Croatian companies, as well as answers to questions related to the upcoming business mission.

Summing up the results of the meeting, the parties noted that the development of direct ties between the Novosibirsk region and Croatia is one of the most important areas of Russian-Croatian cooperation, and the interest of the Croatian business community in expanding trade and economic relations with Russia at the regional level has been growing recently.
