The business mission of the companies of the Novosibirsk region to Azerbaijan has ended
From May 28 to June 1, 2018 The Support Coordination Center of export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises of the Novosibirsk Region and The Union «Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry» have organized a business mission of Novosibirsk enterprises to the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku.
Within the schedule of business trip the representatives of four Novosibirsk companies «Special Design and Engineering Bureau «Katalizator» Joint Stock Company, Limited Liability Company BOLID, JSC ITOMAK, Limited Liability Company «Engineering Center «ELEKTROKOMPLEKTSERVIS» have visited international exhibitions «Caspian Power» and «Caspian Oil and Gas». Members of the delegation took part in the business program of the exhibition, held business negotiations with 20 companies of Azerbaijan, including The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park as well as companies of Turkey, Mexico and Russia. Also, representatives of Novosibirsk business took part in the panel discussion organized by the representative office of Russian Export Center JSC (REC) in Azerbaijan, where they discussed the specificity of conclusion and execution of export contracts with Azerbaijani companies, the peculiarities of customs clearance of goods and various forms of support for Russian export companies, which are carried out by REC.
The REC representative office in Baku hosted presentations of Novosibirsk companies, as well as negotiations on cooperation with the Head of the representative office Nuri Guliyev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijani-Russian Business Council Chingiz Mammadyarov and Head of the project management sector of ОАО «Təmiz Şəhər» Orhkan Huseynov. ОАО «Təmiz Şəhər» company was established by the order of President Ilham Aliyev and is engaged in the placement and disposal of all solid waste.
Presentations of products of Novosibirsk companies were held at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Azerbaijan and at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the first Secretary of the Embassy Yevgeny Prokhorenko, the diplomatic office is ready to provide comprehensive support to Novosibirsk companies when they entering the Azerbaijani market. Vice-president of the CCI of the Republic of Azerbaijan Adil Huseynov spoke about the interest of Azerbaijani companies in cooperation with Russian business. At the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral mutually beneficial relations. As a result of the event, preliminary agreements on cooperation were reached; representatives of the companies continue to negotiate on the supply of products to the Azerbaijani market.
