NCCCI and Investment Promotion Agency of Novosibirsk region held webinars with China

On June 6-7, the Investment Promotion Agency of Novosibirsk Region and the Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCCI) held a meeting of Novosibirsk entrepreneurs with a representative of the Guangdong Union for Scientific and Technical Cooperation with CIS countries Mr. Hang Xing Chao.

The event was attended by Advisor to the Director General for International Affairs of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Novosibirsk Region Vasiliy Plotnikov, Chief Foreign Relations Specialist of the NCCCI Julia Naumkina, Novosibirsk companies such as Nov JSC, RIM JSC, Novosibirsk Aircraft Plant n.a. V.P. Chkalova — branch of Public Joint Stock Company United Aircraft Corporation and Institute of Automation and Electrometry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Mr. Hang Xing Chao told about interests in develop cooperation between Novosibirsk and Chinese business. Nowadays China has a taught cooperation with more than 350 science institutes and academies in Russia, Belarus Republic and other countries. Novosibirsk cooperate with China in medicine, science, techniques and research. Mr. Hang Xing Chao noted the possible options for the development of trade and economic relations, namely: supplies from China, localization of production in Russia, joint development and research.

By the results of the meeting, it was agreed to exchange information between Novosibirsk businesspersons and China. The Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Investment Promotion Agency of Novosibirsk Region are ready to assist in establishing long-term partnerships with China by holding video conferences with interested Chinese companies with the prospect of organizing business missions to China.
